Marsamxett Harbour

Marsamxett Harbour is one of two massive harbours in Malta.  It is located on the north side of Valletta.  The communities of Sliema, Gzira and Ta'Xbiex are located on the north side of the harbour.

Visitors can enjoy a ferry ride across the harbor on the Sliema Ferry.  There are also harbour cruises that shuttle passengers into the harbour bays.  These cruises also travel through the Grand Harbor on the south side of Valletta.

Visitors to Valletta can enjoy a wonderful view of Manoel Island from Hastings Gardens which overlooks Marsamxett Harbour.
